La cérémonie des BET Hip Hop Awards avait lieu le 15 octobre à Las Vegas. 16 prix ont été remis, dont 8 à Kendrick Lamar.

Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, et le duo Future & Metro Boomin sont les grands vainqueurs des BET Hip Hop Awards 2024. Kendrick Lamar a sans surprise été primé pour son titre « Not like us », dans les sections « Best video », « Lyricist of the year », ou encore « Song of the year », mais aussi pour « Like that » dans la catégorie « Best collaboration » avec Future & Metro Boomin, d’où était parti le clash avec Drake.

Nicki Minaj a remporté l’award « Best hip hop album of the year », surpassant Megan Thee Stallion, Travis Scott, Drake et le duo Future & Metro Boomin, tout de même lauréat dans la catégorie « Best duo ».
Deux autres artistes féminines ont été primées: Missy Elliott dans la catégorie « Best live performer », et Sexyy Red en tant que « Best breakthrough hip hop artist ».
L’artiste français SDM, produit par le label de Booba, était nommé (Best international flow).
