Les MTV Video Music Awards 2025 ont eu lieu le 7 septembre à New York (UBS Arena). Lady Gaga est l’artiste ayant reçu le plus de récompenses, avec quatre VMAs dont deux dans des catégories majeures (Artist of the year, Best collaboration). Ariana Grande a remporté trois prix, dont un majeur (Video of the year). Sabrina Carpenter a également été primée de trois VMAs, dont deux prééminents (Album of the year, Best pop artist). 27 prix ont été remis au total, dont 24 à des artistes féminines. Mariah Carey a reçu le MTV Vanguard 2025, et Ricky Martin le Latin Icon Honoree.
